ABOUT HOWIE
I’m a photographer and filmmaker based in Central Florida, working primarily throughout the Kissimmee and Ocala area, while still maintaining a studio in West Virginia.
Over the past decade, I’ve built my business around one major plot point:
Create work that actually feels like the person or team in front of the camera—not just something that looks good.
I’m best known for my senior portraits and sports photography, but what really drives my work is storytelling. Whether it’s a senior session, a team media day, or a full-scale video project, the goal is always the same—create something that people connect with, not just scroll past.
My senior sessions are built to reflect personality, interests, and identity—so when someone sees your photos, the reaction is simple:
“That’s exactly you.”
On the sports side, I work with hundreds of athletes every year, from youth leagues to high school and beyond. Over time, that’s evolved into more than just photos—now it includes team 'media days', cinematic content, and visual branding for athletic programs.
The reality is… today’s athletes and schools don’t just need photos—they need content that builds energy, identity, and pride around their program.
THE WORK
My work has been published internationally and featured in outlets like Sports Illustrated, SLAM Magazine, TIME, and newspapers including The Boston Globe.
Earlier in my career, I spent time working in the newspaper world, where I had the opportunity to cover NFL games and photograph some of the best to ever do it—guys like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Deion Sanders, and many more.
That experience shaped how I approach everything I shoot today—anticipation, timing, and capturing real moments over staged ones.
WHAT'S AHEAD
These days, I’m putting more focus into filmmaking and long-form content, documentary-style projects, brand storytelling, and creative collaborations that go beyond still images.
Photography is still a huge part of what I do. But the bigger goal is building work that lives across platforms—photo, video, and everything in between.
Because at the end of the day…this isn’t just about taking pictures. It’s about creating something people actually remember.

IN MY FREE TIME
Being self-employed doesn't typically leave a ton of free time, but when I get it... I like to get out and play some basketball with the guys, play a little PUBG on Xbox, I love finding new music to listen to (or I'll just listen to the same ole stuff that I love already) orrrr... I'll just be cooking up my next wild idea. I have lots of ideas.
