When do I need to contact you about senior pictures?
Honestly, it's never too early to start thinking about your senior portraits. I've had seniors tell me they'd been planning their senior shoot since they were in middle school. But generally speaking, we start the booking / brainstorming process right before the end of your junior year of high school.
How do I get the ball rolling?
The best way to get started is to fill out the senior survey. That gives me a little insight in to what you like and don't like in terms of things like photos you've seen, music, tv shows, clothing brands, etc. It also gives you a chance to introduce yourself to me and let me know if you have particular areas of interest you'd like to capture in your senior pictures.
Do you sell digitals?
Well, here's the long answer to that one. First, let's think about why you might want digitals. If you're just wanting an easy way to share all of the photos from your order, we already have that covered. That's what comes with your photo app. With every order, you'll get a digital copy of your pictures in web/phone resolution which is perfect for social media sharing. There are a few reasons I don't offer print-resolution images on senior orders. First, there's a quality control issue. I'm very particular about the work I put out. I'm particular over everything from sharpening, cropping / composition, colors, etc. Then, I'm also concerned about print quality. I specialize in this. I want the photos we create to be printed on the highest quality paper and products available. If I were to send out digitals to clients that could be printed anywhere, I wouldn't have any consistency and I would never know what's floating around out there as a representation of my work. Know what I mean?
Do you have a senior model team?
I do not. The way I like to look at it is like this — one of my seniors are just as much a model as the next. You're all models. If you're in front of my camera and we're working together to make great images, then you're my model. If you love your images, then please... by all means... share them. Tell everyone how great your experience was. Share some behind the scenes moments. Tell everyone why you were laughing too hard to keep a straight face in that one photo. But... I don't want to have to be the one to ask you to do that. If you enjoyed your shoot, I figure you'll let people know. I want your experience to be your incentive. That's what keeps me on my toes and constantly trying to create a great senior experience for everyone.
What kind of outfits should I wear?
This is a seasonal thing, obviously. You're in luck. You can see the 'style guide' by clicking here and reading over this information and also taking a look at our pinterest boards for style ideas.
Is it true that you like XBOX?
It's true. I'm probably the best PUBG player in the history of forever. 1v1 me bro. Back in the day I used to wreck people on Halo3.
